AAGI Tumbling Program's mission is to empower children with the fundamental skills of strength and conditioning, body awareness, speed and agility, all while igniting their passion for tumbling through the excitement of learning cool flips and tricks. We strive to provide a supportive and engaging environment where every child can develop their abilities, boost their confidence, and find joy in the art of tumbling that will build their athletic abilities for any sport.
This is our entry-level tumbling class. Students will learn the fundamentals of the sport by mastering handstands, cartwheels, backward/forward rolls, bridges, and kick overs! Students will also be introduced to drills for intermediate-level skills. No experience necessary!
This is the next level up from the beginner class. In Intermediate tumbling, students will begin to learn and conquer skills utilizing explosive strength, developed over time in class. Students train to achieve a back handspring on the wedge mat, trampoline, and floor without assistance and perfecting skills such as round-offs, front walkovers, and back walkovers, as well as an introduction to running tumbling.
In this 55-minute tumbling class students will continue to train and build on their running tumbling skills to progress to the next level! Skills trained at this level include back handsprings, running tumbling connections, standing back tuck drills, front/back walkovers, back/front tucks off the springboards.
This is our highest-level tumbling class. Students will train standing back tucks, round-off tucks, round-off back handspring back tucks, front tucks/front tuck step-outs, layouts, and fulls. Students will also learn and master ways to piece these skills together into complex and challenging tumbling passes.
